Ribbon Cuttings

We encourage all local businesses seeking a ribbon cutting to be sure they have all required permits in advance of opening. You can download a sample checklist from the City of Jamestown, check with your local municipality, or contact the Small Business Development Center at JCC for more information.

The Chautauqua County Chamber of Commerce is happy to help you set up, promote, and run your ribbon cutting or grand opening event. We generally invite media and local elected officials and livestream these events on our Facebook pages. Submit your information and our staff will get back to you to soon to confirm details. Please note: our calendar is tight right now with multiple ribbon cuttings and we will schedule with you as soon as possible. Thank you.
